The idea of the Casa California started in Malibu where Carmelo use to live for three decades as an accomplished fine artist, art teacher, catering chef and musician.

With the return to his native homeland, there was a deep desire to bring back all the experiences catered abroad in his lifetime. The Boutique Style Vacation Home, that we created, is supposed to be a place of rehabilitation for body, mind & soul.

Therefore Carmelos Art Studio is open for our Hotels guests for anyone to use and explore the hidden talents in themselves or enhance artists with skills. As a lifetime experienced artist he also taught art for a decade at the Santa Monica College art Department, the very same school he attended in the early 90’s. His artistic abilities range from sculpting of any materials and three dimensional art, mosaic and assemblage art to design and graphic techniques. If you ever doubted yourself as a artist, but somewhere on the right side of your brain had the desire to create art, this is the place to unleash yourself.
